PROGRAMS & SERVICES
In order to strengthen the community, CFF serves all members of the family. Our adult services provide education, information and support to parents, empowering them to take ownership of their life. Our needs-based support systems meet parents where they are and give them the tools to create the change they need to become better parents and and co-parents.

Our youth services program supports predominantly low-income students through our MASTERS after school program. Our experience, efforts to customize delivery, bilingual staff, and overall dedication to creating an impactful program have proven to be effective. CFF has 17 years’ experience in after school programming, and 10 years’ experience running the MASTERS program. In 2010, the Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) evaluated MASTERS and named it an after school model. While MASTERS occurs at 17 schools in three districts, it is not a “cookie cutter” program. CFF seeks input from parents, teachers and administrators to customize the program for each site.

Our Health and Wellness program is unique because it leads to better health for the whole family. Our sports leagues teach students the fundamentals of basketball, soccer, flag football, cheerleading, and kickball. Our tennis program (supported by USTA NorCal) and our golf program (made possible through a partnership with the Morton Golf Foundation) bring these sports to communities that have not historically participated. Finally, parents participate in fitness and nutrition education and learn the value of taking care of their physical health.
